Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers has beautiful state-of-the-art integrated Cancer and Women's Centers, with locations strategically located throughout the Valley. Each one provides a superior cancer care environment with a full spectrum of cancer related services for patients. Our multi-disciplinary team approach includes surgical oncology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, women's centers, diagnostic imaging services, social service support, nutritionist, integrative services, and genetic counseling.

Overview: We are looking for a qualified and experienced Healthcare Marketing and Credentialing Specialist in the East Valley.  This position is responsible for assisting in our overall marketing and credentialing efforts. This includes a variety of tasks related to marketing initiatives that will promote the long-term growth of Ironwood. Will also assist in efforts to ensure that all necessary licenses and credentials are verified and updated.

Schedule:  Full-time, Monday through Friday day shift position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Daily travel for marketing lunches to outside offices.
  • Cold call marketing.
  • Create relationships with other entities and promote our business to other medical practices.
  • Create flyers and press releases.
  • Maintain company website and social media pages such as Facebook.
  • Ensure company is consistent in messaging and branding.
  • Need to be flexible with work hours to prepare for and attend company sponsored events.
  • Assist in the credentialing of new providers that come on board with Ironwood.
  • Assist in maintaining/updating licensure for all providers.
  • Assist in maintaining hospital reappointments.
  • Scan, file, and maintain multiple spreadsheets.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Workplace experience marketing with electronic media such as Facebook, Twitter, etc.
  • Workplace experience marketing with branding, advertising, company events, and promotional materials, including marketing videos.
  • Workplace experience using Adobe Publisher, WordPress, Photoshop.
  • Constantly operates a computer and office equipment. Ability to type is essential.
  • Must be able to deal calmly and effectively with high stress situations.
  • Must be reliable, responsible, and dependable.
  • Requires being careful about detail and thorough.
  • Be a proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and multi-task.
  • Possess the ability to set priorities, solve problems, and be resourceful under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills. 

Education and Experience:

  • 1-4 years of relevant and demonstrated experience in healthcare marketing. 
  • BA/BS degree preferred.       
  • Valid driver’s license.
