Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers has beautiful state-of-the-art integrated Cancer and Breast Centers, with locations strategically located throughout the Valley. Each one provides a superior cancer care environment with a full spectrum of cancer related services for patients. Our multi-disciplinary team approach includes surgical oncology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, diagnostic imaging services, social service support, nutritionist, integrative services, and genetic counseling.

Overview:  We are looking for a part-time experienced Commercial Maintenance Technician/Handyman who can provide maintenance and repair all aspects of commercial buildings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Will need to be experienced with tasks in the following categories:

  • Plumbing: includes the repair, replacement or installation of faucets, pipes, hot water tanks, toilets.
  • Electrical: includes the repair, replacement or installation of light fixtures and ballasts.
  • Drywall repair: includes filling in small holes caused by normal wear and tear.
  • Flooring/Ceilings: includes replacing carpet tiles and ceiling tiles.  Painting: includes minor touch-ups following damage repair, and new coats of paint.
  • Landscape: work with current landscape contractor on all landscaping issues.
  • Customer service: includes professional, prompt and courteous correspondence with internal management.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Responsible for maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
  • Must be responsive, courteous and efficient in handling of all requests.
  • Responsible for thorough knowledge of company policy and procedures.
  • Be aware and operate within OSHA standards at all times.
  • Must be able to work indoors, outdoors and climb stairs throughout course of day.
  • Must have transportation and own basic hand tools.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years working in commercial facilities maintenance.
  • Must be willing to travel between office locations.
